.. ..The foundations for 'Prospect Lane' were laid at 7.25pm on a spring day at the Sharmans Cross public house on Prospect Lane in a leafy suburb of Birmingham. .. .. .. The Lane's first recording was 'Tear me to Pieces' which was produced by Gavin Monaghan (Kings of Leon, Editors, The Twang) and is closing title soundtrack on the recent Killers rockumentary - 'Leaving Las Vegas'. Mr Monaghan also produced 'Fickle' and 'Isolation'. Prospect Lane have toured and supported the likes of The View, Ghosts, Boxer Rebellion and Silversun Pickups and also performed on Channel 4's The JD Set. They have also been played and acclaimed on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio2, BBC WM, BBC Shropshire and Kerrang Radio. The band performed their third live BBC radio session in December 2008. 2009 holds great promise for The Lane with talk of killer new tracks, an EP launch and gigs a plenty! .. .. ..
