"History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heart-breaking obstacles before they triumphed. They won because they refused to become discouraged by their defeats." B.C. Forbes

"Deliver me from all evildoers that talk nothing but sickness and failure. Grant me the companionship of men who think success and men who work for it. Loan me associates who cheerfully face the problems of a day and try hard to overcome them. Relieve me of all cynics and critics. Give me good health and the strength to be of real service to the world, and I'll get all that's good for me, and will what's left to those who want it." William Feather

"Do not worry about those who jump off the bandwagon at the first bump in the road. Who needs the extra weight?" -Pearl Sklar

"Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seedof an equal or greater benefit." -Napoleon Hill
Achievement seems to be connected with action. Successful men and women keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit." -Conrad Hilton

Success is not built on success. It is built on failure and frustration, sometimes catastrophe, and learning to turn it around. -Sumner Redstone
"Time is our most valuable asset, yet we tend to waste it, kill it, and spend it rather than invest it."

"I do not think there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature." -John D. Rockefeller

About me: *“612” was the original three-digit telephone numbering code (Area Code) for the middle one-third of Minnesota. The North American Numbering Plan established the area code system in 1947 and it was implemented by
AT&T, then
the telephone monopoly in America, in order to facilitate the direct dialing of long distance telephone calls. “612” was originally one of only eighty-six such codes…today there are over 300, about half of which have been added in the past four years.
Prior to the implementation of the area code system, an operator was needed to complete long distance calls. In Minnesota, the first customer-dialed calls using the 612 area code rather than an operator began in 1958. In the mid-1990’s, due to the increasing demand for business and residential telephone services and the widespread use of multiple phone lines for households, fax machines, cell phones, pagers, voice-mail, computer modems, and the world-wide web, it became necessary to subdivide area codes throughout the country.
"A great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do."
Who I'd like to meet:
To earn the approbation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To give of one's self;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived —
This is to have succeeded."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
