If it gets your heart pounding, count me in. I'm def. a fan of chill nights too of course (hello, spooning!). I will try almost anything at least once before judging it, so just ask (unless it's drugs or killing someone!)
I like to do things out of the ordinary (goin White Water Rafting soon, doin sky diving this summer, have been on crazy hiking trips, traveled to many great places, and there's still so much more to do.)
I also dig the generic stuff (bars, goin out to dinner with friends, movies, etc.) but also like board games, stuff outdoors (field hockey!), the beach (woo hoo only live 10 min. from one now), laser tag, mini golf, bowling, air hockey. There really is a TON of stuff to do in this world! And if you're bored, you shouldn't be (unless it's by choice) and it's ur own fault if u are, cuz u can do anything - maybe learn something new (it's called go online or to the library, and check out a book to learn how to knit, or do origami or cook or some crap. Knitting is cool...)
Music
THIS VID ROCKS (see lower right, OK GO)! I WANNA DO THAT!...
I listen to practically anything and everything (yes, even some country on occassion and sometimes Mozart or Beethoven (but let's not kid ourselves, his 5th symphony is better techno style!)
Movies
I'm pretty big on movies of most types, but my faves are prob comedies or unique movies that are sometimes hard to place into a genre. Some that top the list are 50 First Dates, Tommy Boy, Requiem For A Dream, Mallrats, Dirty Work, Love Actually, Napoleon Dynamite, Shrek/Shrek2(Shrek 3 was ok), Miss Congeniality, Little Monsters, Adam Sandler Movies, Captain Ron, I am Sam, Manequin 2: On the Move, Riding in Cars with Boys, Old School, Office Space, Crash, Napoleon Dynamite, The Butterfly Effect, Saw 1, 2, & 3 (well 3 was a lil much), Amelie, Love & Basketball, Bend it Like Beckham, Serenity, The Ultimate Gift, Superbad, and the list continues...
Television
I pretty much just flip between TLC (What Not to Wear I freakin love), Bravo (hello Millionaire Matchmaker), the food channel (take home chef & the ace of cakes show is awesome), and Family Guy, the Office, etc. Don't usually have time to build any specific shows into my schedule and watching too much tv makes me feel blah (we don't have Tivo either)
Books
Augusten Burroughs and David Sedaris rock my world. Also, The Lovely Bones (Alice Sebold) was good and The Moe Chronicles: Tales of an Urban Failure (it's HiLaRiOuS!). The Notebook (Nicholas Sparks) was pretty good: part romance and tear-jerker all rolled into one, need I say more? Jen Lancaster is funny. For spirituality and if you're an open person/have loved ones who have passed away or getting older, I highly recommend "Life on the Other Side," by Sylvia Brown. "Stiff" by Mary Roach is interesting (get your head out of the gutter, it's actually about "the curious lives of cadavers")
Heroes
Mostly my friends cuz they are what get me through the day and keep life interesting. My family (especially my sis and dogs) get hero credit cuz although we're not the cookie cutter type, we've had a lot of good times together.

Curtis Stone, the hot cook from "Take Home Chef." I'd like to take HIM home and cook up a storm ifyaknowwhatimean ;p hehe
Men, you could learn a thing or two from him (the premise of the show is that he goes to the grocery store, asks a woman if he can go back to her house and cook for her that night (and whoever else lives there), buys the groceries, then cooks some amazing stuff and his food looks deeelish

♥ "A woman has strengths that amaze me, she can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens, she holds happiness, love and opinions. She smiles when she feels like screaming. She sings when she feels like crying. Cries when she's happy, and laughs when she's afraid, her love is unconditional, there's only one thing wrong with her and that is that sometimes she forgets what she is worth." ♥
