....Four years ago in the student town of Stellenbosch a potent creative force was born. State Far Better has grown from a student band into a chart-topping powerhouse. Since signing to Musketeer Records in 2004 the bands debut album has spawned 5 top 10 singles across national, regional and campus radio. Hit singles include: Million Miles, Brand new day, Afterlife, Trying to let go & Everytime. State Far Better has made numerous television appearances whilst the music video for Every Time has enjoyed significant airplay... .. State Far Better has recently worked closely with South Africas most successful rock band, Seether. Shaun Morgan has even shared the stage with them for monumental concerts including New Years Eve 2005 in St. Francis Bay to over 8000 people... .. They have played to major audiences at festivals such as Oppikoppi 2005, Woodstock 2004 & 2005 as well as various other New years eves and concerts to over 5000 people each!.. .. This March State Far Better and Seether will be teaming up again for the biggest rock shows in the country. Both bands are playing the Coca Cola Colab Massive Mix festivals, headlined by Metallica. Beyond the three shows in Centurion, Cape Town and Durban State Far Better and Seether will also perform to packed venues in Johannesburg and Nelspruit... .. 2006 brings further exciting developments for State Far Better as the band works on releasing their sophomore album in the latter part of the year....... .......... ..........
