You don't have to read this, but since you added me, I guess I'll tell you. Unlike most of this diluted, generic generation I do not feel obligated to claim I'm some dreadfully obnoxious individual. I lack organization and patience, motivation and perseverance. I never find ignorance cute. In school I create instead of learn. I'm not the top of the class but I consider myself one of the most intelligent. I never, ever answer my phone to hidden numbers. If I tell someone I love them, I’m not lying. After all, since when did ‘i luv u’ mean “I love you”? Whilst I'm on the subject, don't be offended if I don't right 'ly' after myspace comments, it's just, I like to reserve this for my dearest friends, so it means something you know? I tend to say what I think and not really care for the consequences. The amount of girls that have messed me about - I don't try anymore. The amount of 'friends' that have messed me about - I don't try any more. I don't like sluts. I have very little respect for people who don't respect themselves. I respect girls (and boys) who respect themselves, those who aren't basically a welcome mat for STDs. Sex is not something to be proud of or something to boast about. Girls are not to be treated as objects of sexual fulfilment, they are individuals with their own rights and their own feelings. I hate guys who treat girls and women as though they were put on this earth for nothing more than sucking their dicks - it's disgusting. Everyone nowadays thinks because they can point a camera at something and press the button they are good at 'photography' when most of them don't know anything about it. They post these silly little 'photography' albums in their myspace pictures when it's all crap - for those of us that take photography seriously it's just bloody irritating because now "everyone does it". I tend to get attached to people very easily. I love holding hands. I find it very hard to appologise, so if I do, please accept my apology; if you don't, I don't know what to say and I feel really awkward and upset. I think people should stop fighting people, someone else's life is not yours to take away. If every government in the world had not spent all the money they have on weapons, tanks, planes, missiles, guns and other killing machines; but instead spent it on saving thousands of millions of lives by helping to develop countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia - stricken by poverty, famine and disease then poverty could have been left behind in the 20th century. Don't you think life is worth more of your tax money than death? No-one is ugly. No-one is beautiful. But everyone's perception of beauty is different. Beauty is based on the personal oppinion of another, not on physical difference. Many people take computer edited models on billboards to be the ideological form of beauty. When in essence this is just a shell. They are, in fact, just 'ugly' like the rest of us. But as it is always man's advancement which will be his undoing, the model is manipulated to fit a perception which no-one can hope to match. So, we should say to every girl: "Put down the beauty products and step away from the mirror", because you're beautiful already ladies, be proud of yourselves. Everyone is a perfect rendition of their own personality, their own image and their own body. No-one else can be you, and no-one else can expect you to change for them. Don't try and be anyone else because you're perfect at being yourself. Don't be backed into a corner by the restrictions of society, political correctness or other elitist points of view. Be proud of who you are. I am a Christian; I see the maticulous wonder of the natural world, the complex lifestyles, intertwining food chains; I see the billions of cells in the genetic makeup of every individual animal, and I think to myself, 'How can this be chance?' In the winter we get temperatures of -10 degrees celcius in the UK, that's just due to a tilt of less than 100 miles, which, in space terms is nothing. If we were 1000 miles further from the sun (again, this distance is nothing in space terms), then life would not exist, it would simply be too cold. Likewise, if we were 1000 miles closer, it would be too hot, the world would be desert. So tell me, what are the chances of a rock with this specific atmospheric structure end up at this exact and perfect distance from the sun? How did such a complex and diverse species of animals and plants form and interlock? I beleive it's more than just chance. Basically, I'm a Christian, laugh at me if you like, I'm not going to preach to you or try and ram my beleifs down your throat :)
