  • Bio

It took 2 years to set up the band that will finally make you freak out. 61inch is the resault of the search. A name that does not explain itself on its own, just like the diverse songs or the band as such. Jesse (Voc/Guit), Klaus (Bass/Voc) and Phrosh (Drums/Voc) build a trio that knows: In a trio, it's more about the individual. A trio always forces you to continue getting better. The energy can be directly focused and punt foreward. And a trio also allows you to combine tricky beats, clear bass-lines and screams with sociocriticism, whalesongs, disco-grooves and lovesongs - whether with a suit in a convertible or with a baseball-cap wearing shorts by making barbecue. "Postbeatrhythmcollegebritpoppunk - they don't even really know what they're doing. 61inch sounds like sixties, nineties, 2011. Familiar and surprising, timeless but still up-to-date. That's exactly what makes 61inch sound that good." (Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung)
