"61 South" is the blues/rock recording project of steel guitarist Sterling Koch. The music of "61 South" is powered by the soaring sounds of the steel guitar. The unique sound of the steel guitar in a non-country format is what sets this project apart from other blues/rock bands. This is not your typical steel guitar sound, think Duane Allman or Elmore James in a contemporary blues/rock style. "61 South" released 1 official CD in 2008 before disbanding. New songs will be added here at this myspace and for sale at CDBaby sometime in the future.
