About 61 South

"61 South" is a 3 piece classic rock/blues rock band powered by the soaring sounds of the steel guitar. The unique sound of the steel guitar in a non-country format is what sets this band apart from other bands. This is not your typical steel guitar sound. Far from it. Think Duane Allman or Elmore James with as solid a rhythm section as you will find. Playing classic rock, blues/rock and southern rock by artists like George Thorogood, Z.Z. Top and original classic blues/rock, "61 South" is sure to roll away your blues.
