Who I'd like to meet:
I'm mainly doing myspace to keep in touch with some friends that I do not have a lot of time to e-mail and to social network. If you're not sure what social networking is, perhaps you should have The Daily Show's Demetri Martin explain it to you... http://www.devilducky.com/media/42199/

Ha! I know how you feel. I too am not overly familiar with the Marvel 'verse. But the guy who recommended it said I'd be fine. And anytime they show someone new, they put their name in as well so it's pretty new-reader friendly.

Brian Michael Bendis, and it's part of the Marvel universe. The premise: the Skrulls have secretly infiltrated Earth, and have started to attack the planet. It'll be easy to get into because there are only three issues out right now. So far, it's pretty good.

I did pick up Kick Ass, and it's amazing. Thank you so much for the recommendation. I'm planning on writing about it after I get done writing about Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. And I'll totally have to take you up on reading Wanted.

The latest thing I'm reading is Secret Invasion. Have you read that one? If you haven't, I think you should check it out.

I have taken your advice and I'm going to read Kick-Ass. Alas, the local comics store didn't have issues 1 or 2, so I'm buying them off of eBay. And then I'm going to pick up a copy of issue 3 next Wednesday because that's when they're getting more of that issue in.
Thanks for the rec!

No, I haven't read Kick-Ass.
Why do you think I should read it? And it's published by Marvel, right?

Everything's going well, thanks for asking. :) And yourself?

Dude. It's so cool that you went to the DGAs. I'm knee-deep in the envy. And hey, who knew Sean Young would go all drunken heckler? I sure didn't.

Hey Drew, I figured I'd answer your question here. A friend lent me books 1-8 of Sandman a few years back, and I tore through them. Unfortunately, that's as far as I got in the series. I want to finish the whole thing now, but since it's been a while since I read 1-8 I'm re-reading them. I finally read book 9, and now I'm on book 10! :)
