Nina, Ozomatli,Beatles, Outkast, Eryka Badu, Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Ella, Tina Turner, Michael, Amy Winehouse,Leela James,Lenny Kravitz,Ceelo Green, Nappy Roots,and last but certainly not least, CJ always. | | Movies | LOVE the classics; Philadelphia Story, It's a Wonderful Life, 12 Angry Men,Dogma, The Women (the original), anything that was a musical- 7 Brides For 7 Brothers, Funny Face, Gigi, The Flower Drum Song. The Terminator, The Notebook, Sex and The City. If it makes me cry, I'll dig it. | | Television | What I won't watch: "reality" shows; contests, or most sitcoms. Once in a while a sitcom is well written- "Ally McBeall", "Sex and the City". If I'm watching TV, I am probably looking for an old movie. | | Books | Last good one was "Kite Runner". Can't stand fluff that repeats itself 12,000 times. A good story with a good author and I won't need a TV. | | Heroes | My dad. He was my protector, my teacher. All that I learned about working hard and being honest, kind, came from him. Damn, I miss him. |

About me:
I am a hard-working, hard-playing woman who doesn't take much crap from ANYONE. I have been told I am TOO honest. I don't get that. The people who really love me know I will give them an honest opinion no matter if it hurts.
I love to cook for people that I love. I love to garden; I love a good book. I love music; all of it. I love to dance. I love to decorate. Making a space attractive is a rush. Most of all, I love my children and husband.
I have learned through the trials of life that attitude is everything. The hard parts of life are so much easier if you accept it and be happy.
I believe we are all equal; man/woman. black/white. I try to treat everyone with kindness.. until they piss me off.
I also believe if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.. CJ taught me that.
