Creative writing, photography, listening to music, reading, drawing, lifting weights, writing/illustrating comics, and chillin' with friends.
Music
Soft Rock, Jazz, Dance, Classic Soul, today's R&B, or anything I can bop my head to.
Movies
TOO MANY to list, but I can share the types I own and enjoy such as classic and modern pictures. Genres include Sci-Fi, Horror, Action, Drama, Comedy, Anime, Foreign films, Black cinema, Musical Biopics, etc... so yeah. I'm a GIANT movie buff
Television
Shows I've followed for years that remain on the air include: Smallville, Family Guy, The Boondocks, American Dad, and The Simpsons. New shows include NBC's Heroes and Spike TV's Afro Samurai.
Books
I mostly read novellas or short stories, but I love thrillers. My favorite book is the espionage classic, 'The Day of the Jackal'. I've also read books by Stephen King and from Christian author Frank Peretti. I also enjoy reading biographies and collecting art books for reference.
Heroes
My Almighty Father, my family, friends, Dr. MLK Jr., Malcolm X, Bruce Lee, Christopher Reeve, Steven Spielberg, Alex Ross, Jerry Siegel, Joe Shuster, Brian Michael Bendis, James Cameron, Michael Eric Dyson, Stan Lee, Quentin Tarantino, Dwayne McDuffie, Muhammad Ali, George Lucas, Stevie Wonder, Spike Lee, and others who have in some way inspired me.
About me: In the interests section, you'll learn plenty. If you want to know more... hit me up!
Who I'd like to meet: READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING ME A FRIEND REQUEST: I AM HERE FOR FRIENDS AND NETWORKING ONLY. IF YOU WANT TO ADD ME AS A "FRIEND", THAT'S COOL. HOWEVER, I'D APPRECIATE IF YOU'D WRITE A SHORT MESSAGE TELLING ME WHY. If you send a request without a note, I'm still gonna read through your profile to keep an open mind. If I don't add you, there's usually a pretty good reason why I didn't. I really DO want to "meet" and hear from people far and wide who might share common interests. However, I'm aware of those who treat MySpace as a popularity contest and hit up any profile they come across to increase the number of so called "friends" on their list. And they're others who try to solicit some other business proposition that I'll probably have no interest in. If you are any of the latter two I've mentioned, don't waste your time because I WILL deny you. A simple hello is all I ask. Thanks for lookin'.

Today is the first day of Black History Month. I wanted to highlite 12 people from my friends list who I feel should be commended for their work. Most of my friends on here are ambitious and creative. I chose these 12, however, because their drive reminds me of the force within the souls of my ancestors - OUR ancestors. They have put it ALL on the line and continue to do so in hopes of achieving their ultimate goal. They refuse to give up, be stopped or even compromise their dreams. They all have a "finished product" that serves somewhat as a trophy commemorating their struggles. I applaud these 12. They inspire me. They remind me that in the midst of a people proud to be nothing or change nothing, there are those who will defy the odds simply because its in their hearts to do so.
