I truly love my life and appreciate: my partner Christian, my cats, good friends, forests, caves, deep sea life, a good laugh, a nice goth club, music, oddities, red wine, Absinthe, etymology, and all non-human animals (especially the ones people consider naturally ugly or threatening(genetic mishaps/inbreeding excluded).
I'm currently working with Christian as doorfolk for Portland's only "queer punk" dance party called Blow Pony, which plays a mixture of 80's new wave, punk, 50's and 60's rock/bebop, electroclash, post-punk, and whatever else DJ Airick has bubbling in his bum.
I have also worked on more than 25 DVDs as a "production assistant" and interviewer for the special features documentaries of almost all the Filmation Studios back catalogue, The Archies (cartoon), and Prince Valiant DVDs. I had a blast working with all the voice actors, storyboard artists, editors, producers, animators and special effects creators that I got to interview. The most memorable interview was with one of my favorite directors, John Carl Buechler (Troll, Friday the 13th pt. 7, Ghoulies), which you can see on the Jason of Star Command DVD set.
