.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ............ .. .... .. ...... .. .. .. Tom Paxton has become a voice of his generation, addressing issues of injustice and inhumanity, laying bare the absurdities of modern culture and celebrating the tenderest bonds of family, friends, and community. .. In describing Tom Paxton's influence on his fellow musicians, Pete Seeger has said: "Tom's songs have a way of sneaking up on you. You find yourself humming them, whistling them, and singing a verse to a friend. Like the songs of Woody Guthrie, they're becoming part of America." .. Tom Paxton continues writing songs, performing, and inspiring musicians and fans of all ages. .. A couple of times a week I pick up the guitar, and "I've Got Nothin But Time" has been on steady rotation for the past year. Thanks, Tom, for the great songs!

Hey Tom--I've been a fan of yours since about 1964: had your early songbook and learned 'em all by heart. Especially the children's songs. And now I find that you've got some new kids' songs! Where can I access the lyrics and chords too, if at all possible? Thanks so much. email me if possible: rplatta@gmail.com

Hi Tom,
The first song I heard by you was Talking Vietnam Potluck Blues. Heard this in 1971 on late night (Seattle underground) KRAB Radio while living with a family of John Birchers during my senior year of private christian high school. The family didn't know I was listening to subversive stuff on the radio. Its still a funny song!
Love your Sara Palin song too! Thanks for all your great work!!!
