Just recently coming from college and playing collegiate athletics, "I love sports." I like warm weather and being outdoors. I enjoy working out on a regular basis. I also love chilling out listening to music and going out with friends.

Books
The last book I read for pleasure was a book called "Coal to Cream." I forget who the offer is. It is an an excellent story about how race relations are perceived so differently in Brazil versus how we observe things in the United States. Also black males need to read the "40 Million Dollar Slave" by William Rhoden.

My father, my uncle David (Davy) L. Sheppard, Lonnie Perdue, and my grandparents they are my heroes and all the inspiration I need. I love my family...
About me: I am recent graduate of Duke University, where I played collegiate football. Despite my calm demeanor I have a passion for competition, always have and always will. I am originally from Pontiac, MI, but currently reside in Washington, D.C. I am a confident, highly motivated individual and driven to be succesful in either athletics or business. Although I am currently profesional world, I may in the near future try my hand in football at the professional ranks, so I am still 6'2 225 lbs. As you already know I love to be active and workout. I remained in the south partly because of work but also because of the nice weather, and an escape from the cold Michigan winters. Now I am in the Mid-Atlantic, I guess its the best of both worlds. I am just looking for someone one with positive energy. Artificial and cosmetic aspects of people tend to draw people in but more important positive attitude and being genuine. I like to laugh, dance, socialize, but overall just have a good time. I consider myself to be extremely versatile. I beleive that talent and power are nothing without heart. Some people believe that the difficult situations in life build character in people. I believe the that when we enter the darkest moments of our lives it does not develop character it merely reveals who has and who doesnt...

Who I'd like to meet: I really dont know. Some of the best people in my life have been surprises or have become close to me through unorchestrated occurrences.
