This Norwegian act doesn't make it easy for the
listener. They play in a very progressive fashion, and
the unexpected, rapid changes between Power Metal,
full-on Thrash, enchanting acoustic passages and even
raging Death Metal - riffs could be too much of a good
thing for some people. Something between NEVERMORE,
COMMUNIC and DISILLUSION, 66CRUSHER not only challenge
themselves but the listener as well. Very long songs
and complicated arrangements on one hand, beautiful
melodies, fascinating guitar work and diverse vocals
on the other, and for both you need to pay full
attention. Truth Unmasked is not a record that you
just listen to. To enjoy and understand 66CRUSHER one
has to give him or herself totally to the concept,
which tells a tale about a woman who was raped
repeatedly by her father and is later searching for
help and a place to stay at a Christian haven. In some
cases perhaps less or straighter would have been more
(e.g.: the too-complex 'The Tables Have Turned'), but
still, all record labels should listen to this record
in the search for new blood to add to their prog

66crusher started taking form as a band in 2000, and has kept the same line-up since January 2003. The music has developed through the years to a sound that today best can be described as progressive metal with elements from thrash. The material on Truth Unmasked has been worked on since 2002, and has been played live several times.

This is a five piece concept about a woman who were raped repeatedly by her father as a child, and when she grows up, she think she finds relief in a Christian organisation lead by a charismatic person who claim that he can help Faith from the pains her father caused. His help consist of sexual abuse which only gains him. The concept is partially based upon a true story.
