.. .. 66 Rising is a local Denver modern rock band that possesses a unique sound, high energy showmanship, and a drive that makes things happen. From anthem rock to intimate ballads, their music is a blend of catchy riffs, melodic rhythms, and lyrics that reveal experience and, occasionally, tell a story. Every performance is dynamic from start to finish!

The diverse backgrounds within the band enable them to create edgy, bold, and meaningful songs from a wide range of experiences. With influences running from Nirvana and Radiohead to AC/DC and Led Zepplin, 66 Rising's style puts the melodic and the aggressive on the same page.

Jason's Influences: Nirvana. One of the most influential bands in my life. Besides Kurt Cobain and Nirvana some of my other influences are Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Eris, Taking Back Sunday, Samiam, Sunny Day Real Estate, Hum, Everclear, Fuel, Filter, Finch, Metallica, Motley Crue, Faith No More, Guns and Roses, Incubus, Megadeth, Napalm Death, Coldplay, Dave Mathews, Buffalo Tom, The Jayhawks, Our Lady Peace, Primus, Oasis and just way to many to mention.
