My main interests would be my family and friends, nursing, music!!!, being a lazy butt, RPing, sleeping in, the beach... and my Jay! <3
Music
I think it's safe to say I have a broad taste in music. I'm going to assume that this site is more US based so I don't expect people to know half of these bands I'm about to name, as they are Australia.
Silverchair are my absolute favourite followed closely by Powderfinger. Jet, Little Birdy, End of Fashion, Eskimo Joe, The Vines, Thirsty Merc, Missy Higgins, Grinspoon, The Living End and I'm sure I've missed a few.
Okay, here come my 'left field' tastes. Jamiroquai, Gorillaz, LotR and Narnia soundtracks, Green Day, No Doubt, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Eyed Peas, Evanescence, Foo Fighters and I was once was a devoted Spice Girls fan in my youth. XD But I can assure you that is all good and buried!
I'm also an amateur Bass Guitar and Electric Guitar player aswell as something like 6 years experience with the Clarinet before I gave that up. I may not be a rock star yet, but I'm getting there = P
I'm the lead singer for the new all-girl cover rock band Hens Nite. We rock out and I love it.
Movies
Don't you just hate being put on the spot when being asked what your favourite movies are? Well, I'm sure I'll end up beating myself up for forgetting a classic, but for now I can't live without the following movies.
The Matrix Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars, X-men Trilogy, Narnia, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, anything by Miyazaki, Team America, Finding Nemo, endless amounts of Disney classics.
That's just to name a few so you can probably gather I'm just a big kid who likes fantasy and Sci. Fi.
Television
The Simpsons rule the world!
Followed by Seinfeld, Futurama, NCIS, The Family Guy, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Thank God You're Here, House, Everybody Loves Raymond, Scrubs, Rove Live, Will and Grace and countless anime/cartoons. Plus I like animal documentaries... >_>
Books
LotR Trilogy, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Harry Potter series, Terry Goodkind's work. And I have a steadily growing manga collection... cuz I'm a dag, lol. Guh, I can't think; but anything Fantasy or Sci. Fi. really. I was once an Animorph fan, XD and those books are safely buried with my formerly mentioned Spice Girls CDs.
Heroes
My friends! It's corny I know, but it's true. Each one of them inspires me in a different way ^_^ Also we have; Yoda, Austin Powers, Steve Irwin, Sir David Atemborough, Al Gore and Homer Simpson.

Introducing Me
My name is Kirsty, and I live in Western Australia, Golden Bay which is one hour south of our capital city Perth. I turned 21 on January 26th (Australia Day! XD) and am currently enrolled at Murdoch University in the Bachelor of Nursing. I'm originally from Bristol, England though and immigrated over to Aussie land with my Mum, Dad and younger sister (by two years) Danielle when I was 3.
Well, that's all the boring stuff gone.
So... about me huh?
I work at an Aged Care Facility, which is a fancy way of saying Old Folks home, he he he. And I really love it. It's hard, don't get me wrong, and can be very emotionally challenging but it's also extremely rewarding.
My Dad's job is in China (Tianjin) at the moment; he's practically been living there for 3 plus years, with the occassional flight back home. I've been over three times.
I am the lead singer in an cover-song rock cover band once called Hens Nite when it was all-girl. We now have a new guitarist and need to find a new name. Stay tuned for updates =P
I would like to say I have a life, but we all know that would be a lie. I am addicted to RolePlaying Forums (I'm a geek underneath it all, so shoot me) and am found on the computer in my spare time. I would say I have lots of friends though (IRL and overseas through the net), and I must warn you, I am a loyal and fierce friend ^_^

On the topic of the internet, I actually met my boyfriend (now fiance'!) of almost 2 years through the net. I've always been a skeptic of internet/long distance relationships but Jay certainly turned my views around on that. We're very much inlove and I am grateful for my friends and family's understanding of this. We've known each other for three years and met in June this year. He's coming over to live in Australia in December and I can't wait!
Oh yeah, and I'm a bloody hippy.

I know; I have a fursuit I'm wearing, but I can't decide between my Frank the bunny one, or my Kyuubi one... -pomders on this- Ah well; I'll definately be wearing my Sasuke cosplay, so, we can mess around in cosplay and such. I tape down with like, six layers of ace bandages to get that achieved, so, it hurts kinda more than a-lot. x-X
