About me:
! A word about requests, folks. If you are a band, please consider adding Junkmedia instead of me (I work there). More use for everyone, honest. However, I'll sure talk to you if you need to have your pictures taken or artwork done.

I'm a photographer.
I think I came to watch. Frankly, can't do much else, lens is my eyes and occasionally even hands. Would like to fancy myself among those in the third Pythagorean tier - happy people who are lookers-on at the games. Pythagoras thought them most advanced of all though, ranking above those who buy and sell and above those who compete. Enlightened I'm not, but I stare. A lot. Um... sorry if I made you uncomfortable. Humans are the curiouser subjects, earth from way above is not half bad either, 15th century books rock. Work I've done includes photographing Radiohead, Pixies, David Byrne, Air, Cure, Bright Eyes and various other music acts. And that dork with a camera glued to the illuminator on a plane is me.
...um, I'm a staff photographer at Junkmedia now. Visit sometime. We're good.
...else, I run a mean exclusive rather cozy Radiohead message board called Revolving Doors II. And you can find a shitload of my Radiohead pictures, as well as a few other objects of interest, at Cloudcuckooland. It hasn't been updated for ages and is missing pictures from Ether festival, from the UK May 2006 shows and the two recent (first + second) New York City shows.
That was a lot of linking. Meep.
I'm also an antiquarian book dealer. A rare, dusty old-fashioned profession that I'm delighted to be a part of - and that, incidentally, keeps me fed. Mostly dealing in incunabula, though not shunning any fine rare volume. Old books are, by today's standards, freak miracles of non-disposable design. Which thing of what I buy now will be around in 530 years - tight, bright, and clean? Sad but true, they don't make them like that anymore. And there are various oddities and ghosts to be found pressed between pages.
I like to pretend that I'm a musician, but that drifted into the murky sea of wishful thinking. I write (questionable) music, play piano and sing (weirdly), and am loosely associated with Species 8472 project. A track I co-wrote and recorded with them, Green Sky, was recently chosen for Earth Monkey/Talking Monkey's Falling compilation. Green Sky is half-sung, half-spoken piece, mostly in Russian.
Else, I can design a mean webpage, assemble furniture and make pancakes.

Who I'd like to meet:
(If I added you and you don't know me, I was probably too shy to say hello with my mouth.)
(If you added me and I don't know you... be good, send a message, say why you want to be a friend.)
