THE JUNKYARD ALL-STARS consist mainly of the trio Luke, Carl, and Jason. We've been playing around town in Eugene, OR since sometime in 2003. The whole thing started when Luke and Jason started playing tunes together and then Carl came along and decided he would stray from his metal roots and play a little folk too. The group blends folk, rock, blues, and a little metal in order to create the Junkyard sound. Originally we were playing open mics at places such as Cafe Paradisso and Cosmic Pizza, and then playing shows at the same locations. This was awesome, but we've all been taking on some more demanding life activities. So, while practicing does still happen and we rock out together just about every day, we spend less time trying to play out places. However, we do play the occasional house gathering, when offered the opportunity, or whatever. Songs are still being written and ROCK is still being created! .. ....
