The idea for The Earthlings began when Andy Robinson decided he wanted to make music with (of all things) toys. One day, in a music shop, he discovered the tenor kalimba (also known as mbira), an instrument that looks like a toy but decidedly isn't. Andy was so entranced with the sound he bought one and learned to play it. Some time later he managed to bully his friend, Richard Matthew, into learning a few notes on the alto kalimba. They soon discovered the ethereal beauty the instruments were capable of producing in unison. Eventually, they convinced friend and keyboardist, Bill Birney, to join them, and The Earthlings were born. They are, alas, no longer creating music collectively, but two members still manage to make delightful sounds.

Hey, I am quite wonderful about keeping in touch ACTUALLY. How dare you compare me to other foolish ppl. ;) And I am lucky with my ma. We still bicker. But in a silly way. Ive gotten her super hooked on Guitar Hero. Its so funny. her and Billy (the boyfriend) are hysterical to watch compete with each other. Next weekend, we should do dinner! This weekend is no bueno for super duper popular (and broke) sam. But next weekend. We should catch up. =)
My friend deleted her myspace, hoping to rid herself of some online drama, and Tom magically got added to my top. He's very full of himself that Tom fellow. lol. And my mom says hi as well. Me and her have been going to the Pony Express lately on weekends for the live music. Its been fun. =)
Ha! Of course I care. I wish I could have as well. =) You look well though. Lol. Healthy and Happy. I would have much rather of chit chatted than learned what to do if someone cuts off their finger. ;) I felt sad at that campus today! Im gonna miss it. Its cozier than the other campus. And of course, your there!
I am sad that I wont get to see you even around campus anymore. It feels strange. I had hopes Id be your sole aid. If only you were so lucky. lol.
My sister was quite the handful. She left a few days ago. I miss her, but its nice to have things back to normal.
And of course our AIMS score were good! We killed ourselves those last few eeks we had to cram. Im way happy those kids pulled through. They all are going to have so much to deal with. I miss them all so much. I see Caley and Mack and Johnathon and Summer School, and Dylan and Johnaton actually always give me hugs, which is so nice. i want them back!!! That call from Miranda made me smile so big. Doesnt it feel so great to know your missed and loved and remembered? I still think Miranda will be an Alpha Female someday. Shes gonna do good.
My poor mom has been getting like a million calls a day from me lately. Im filling out my FAFSA forms for Yavapai, and everytime they ask something, I have to call her. Whats your SSN? What kind of taxes did I file? Whats your income? lol. Shes doing pretty okay with me moved out. She stops by with milk and cherrios often. And always seems to find a project to work on while shes here. I think she just likes feeling helpful. And needed.
Tomorrow I start wrk with Jackie at the West Campus.... She is gonna take that campus by storm.
Well, my little half sister has been here for a few weeks. Shes 15. Its been interesting. =) We're taking a big camping trip before she goes. Im realizing the hardships of the real world, lol. And hmmm. Nothing much else. Ive been working in the preschool. Was a bum who didnt take any classes this summer. Its been fun. This is our last month of summer! damn.
I miss you too! We had some damn good times last year. Im excited for August though. Its gonne be good. =) And yes! I will totally find you on Facebook. I check both every couple of days. And tattoos dont hurt so bad. I guess I got that one on my back on one of the worst places too. The spine. So my next ones shouldnt be so dreadful. And the girl is one of my good friends. Shannon. Im actually dating her brother! Itll be six months next week. So, what have you been up to? =)
