Blues, I appreciate all other genre's, not necessarily like them but appreciate them. When people tune into my shows and they hear or see what I'm playing, they say, "Hey, That's Blues? I like that!"
Movies
My favorite is the "The Dark Knight" not only is it a great production, but if you look close in one scene you'll see the tall, dark, good looking, handsomely debonair..me!!!
Yes, I was an extra and played Bodyguard / Mobster to Eric Roberts character "Salvatore Maroni", I open the limousine door for him, so don't blink, you might miss me, and you wouldn't want to do that, after all, if it wasn't for me, the picture would have probably been a flop..
If you didn't get enough of me in "The Dark Knight" look for me in "The Express" ...Again, I'm an extra, this time however I play a football sideline reporter....it's been a lot of fun, I like this acting stuff and it was a kick seeing myself on the big Imax screen...lol
Television
"Paul Parello's Blues Power" of course.
Books
Bible, Friends in high places....
Heroes
The janitor, the garbage man, the kid sweating his butt off at the chicken place for minimum wage, all the volunteers that give up their lives to help others. All the single Mothers and Fathers. My kids. ..

Ritchies Liquid Chrome" I played drums professionally for nine years and during that time had the opportunity to play with Blues legends, Eddie Taylor Sr., Wild Child Butler, Andrew Blue Blood McMahon and Luther Allison.
I left the Blues music industry to raise a family, but returned in 1996 to produce, and host the award winning television program "Paul Parello's Blues Power." Who I'd like to meet: I'm hoping to meet the perfect woman, (you know, since I'm perfect I thought it would be a good match). Seriously, a woman who is confident in herself and can respect who she is and respect me. If she's good looking that's a bonus. If she's rich, well let's just say she will then get top priority. (sorry I slipped from serious again). But if you are rich, I am up for adoption, I'll mow the lawn, do the dish's, you know, the whole nine yards... Don't I sound like a real catch?!?
Also,I'm here to meet all my Blues sisters and brothers, muscians, bands, producers, labels, program directors and promoters...!

Now I feel it is the right time to thank you for your friendship and support in 2009. Still busy in studio, still working hard to get something we can call our own stile. The 30th of december last year it suddenly appear a lighting sceanery on heaven. Luckely I managed to grab a camera and save the image. It was almost like the creator came down in his greatness. With this photo I want to wish you and yours a merry christmas and a happy, new year full of posibilities and great moments. Peace, love and respect. Grandpa_Erik
Just wanted to say hi and let you know that my new single, "Long, Long Time" is up and available to listen to and load. Give me a spin, and let me know what you think!
Thankyou for tonight's show Paul - it passes way too quickly as usual - and was such an enjoyable place to be for those 2 hours with the stories, the music and the company.
Every day we are jumping from one task to another – looking at the watch as a guide. No wonder heart attack is one of the main causes to death. We forget to pause, to look around and to enjoy friendship and family. The world is beautiful – you only have to allow yourself to see it - to experience it. Look at the watch, painted by Jette – given the title “Time is relative”.
Take care my friend, make time and have a great weekend.
