Its been a long time coming for Perth hip-hop artist JR.
Who's raw lyrical skillz have been scorching hip-hops underground since the early 90's. Born & raised in Kwinana, JR. began weaving his street slang rhymes with beatz to cassette around the age of 14, At a time when hip-hop music was still struggling to be accepted in Perth. It wasnt long after, That JR. with high school friends KALICo. & Jeremy Gregory, Formed the group Motel 69, Which rose to be one of Perth's premier urban acts in the mid to late 90s. It has been over a decade since JR. first touched the mic, As he prepares to release his debut cd Such Iz Life. . . With pure hip hop pumping through his veins, Feel his joy, struggle & pain. . .
As JR. proves he is one of Perth's finest.
