The numbers "1-2-6" is synonymous with the phrase "Death Before Dishonor" . The numbers stand for unity and strength where there is desertion and weakness. A lot of people run up and ask, "What does 1-2-6 stand for, like what does it mean?" I tell 'em first, 1-2-6 is a family. We were crafted in the fire and made to be brothers before anything. That means we eat together, starve together, win together, lose together, laugh together, fuck dimes together, stomp bitch niggas out together, and then rap together.
In high school there was seven of us. We battled everyday to see who the best was. I boiled down to 4 of us. But the others didn't fall back like in most crews, they supported. There was the boy Tre', Thias a.k.a. Gangsta Disciple, Big Q (rest in eternal peace), Napps (y'all know NAPPS), and Grenade. You wanna battle you gotta deal with Grenade first. If you get Tre', I'll pray for you.
We span from Overtown, Miami to Colorado. You ask where we from "561, 954, 305!! We get crunk, we get twisted, we get live!!!" You ask how long we been in the game, I say too long listenin to this bullshit. You ask how many shows we did and who set those up; I say we did 10 shows for the hood. NAPPS is the general so he calls the hits.
We tried some shit with record industry-types to get a push that we needed, but it turned out to be the same story you'll get if you were to ask any rap nigga in the game right now. Niggas is shiest. They want you to be what they tell you to be…and THAT, the 1-2-6 has never stood for, ever. We did what the fuck we wanted to do, always. So with that, we said to hell with it. We'll do our own shit. So the songs like "Blazin Everyday" (weed smoker's anthem), "Getaway" (G4 to the islands), "The Oath" (1-2-6 WHERE YOU FROM!!!) and all the others I'm not going to name are on the strength of us alone. Doin what the fuck we wanna do. Fuck radio, cause at the end of the day you still gotta look at yourself in the mirror. If you can't recognize your face, you fucked.
At this current moment we are currently working on a online mixtape that is set to drop on January 26 th which is 1-2-6 DAY. We are currently in the studio recording with other artist and also producing beats. We also have individuals that work in the promotions with such companies such as Lex Promotions, Bartley International, and Club Sobe Live.
AS A 1-2-6 MEMBER, I VOW TO KEEP IT STREET. EVEN WHEN UNDER PRESSURE, I'LL NEVER MOVE MY FEET. I'LL PAINT A TRUE PICTURE, THE BAD AND THE GOOD. I'M PART OF 1-2-6, SET VOICE OF THE HOOD.
If I'm lyin', I'm dying. 1-2-6 ridin' - through the smoke we shinin'. One-hunned 26.
