Every Saturday and Sunday night on BBC 6 Music Tom Robinson introduces new tunes by upcoming artists - direct from their own web pages. All music in the show is recommended by listeners, musicians and BBC Introducing colleagues across the country.
To level the playing field, we have a Recommend Music page that's open to everybody, and we choose music according to what comes out of the speakers, not the number of people who request it or what the NME says. If it sounds good to us, we'll play it.

Hi , Its been a while and we thought it was about time we updated you on what we've been up to. Our debut EP Little World is now available at our gigs and will soon be available from our myspace and facebook pages, you will also be able to download it from itunes, but we don't have a release date for this as yet. To celebrate the fact that we have now reached 25,000 plays on myspace, we are giving you a free MP3 of Rockabye Baby. All you have to do is send your email address to queen.elvis@yahoo.ie and we will send it to you. We have spent the last year rehearsing with a full band and are now ready to bring it on the road. You can get a look at us when we appear on Balcony TV this week with the full line up. We are currently taking bookings for gigs/concerts/festivals and can be contacted on the email above, or through our myspace and facebook pages. Just wanted to let you know that Benedizione has been nominated in this years MP3 Music Awards! I uploaded some songs to their site a couple of months ago and found out last Monday that we have been nominated. It's really quite unbelievable and at the same time an amazing feeling!!
I've been emailing BBC Radio 3 New Music and Classic FM to try and get them to play Bendizione and I sent some cds to Hear and Now and Late Junction. No luck yet but hopefully with the nomination we'll get some positive responses.
We have the likes of Damon Albarn voting for us and Kiri Te Kanawa leaving lovely comments on our myspace site so some great kudos. All good stuff!
We find out on November 5th if we've won. We have a one in three chance so very good odds. If we do win we will play at the award ceremony and they are negotiating with some tv networks to broadcast the event live. It just gets better and better!
