We sound like a wave rolling up to the sand on a hot summer day....refreshing
Oaklyn, NJ is to blame for the power acoustic duo named 6 pack poets.
Bob K and Mark B go all the way back to the first grade.
Long time friends and musical counter parts, Bob and Mark played in
bands through out high school together. After high school,
Bob played the original philly circut and enjoyed playing spots like
JC Dobbs. These are places Pearl Jam and Tool were playing around the same time
before they were discovered. Mark and Bob hooked back up in the late
90's when Brian S(high school friend) called Bob to arrange
for a jam session and got the old high school band back together and F-
Bomb was born. Mike T, Chuck D, Bob, Mark and Brian had no
idea the ride that was ahead of them .. FBomb made a name for
themselves one night in the early spring when F-Bomb's sound men did
not show up and they decided to play anyway(see pic of Chuck duct
taping the microphone to Mikes chest so he could sing plugged into a
guitar amp . Overnight F-Bomb was a sensation playing every big time
club in the area. F-bombs first big gig was at the Pickle Barrel in VT
opening for Mr Green Genes. We were only around for a year until F-
Bomb exploded but all good things must end I guess.. From there Bob formed Money Shot with Mark, Ron B, Jake W currently with Laura Lee and Trip Fab and Joe Bachman. Money Shot enjoyed gigs through out the circut but made a name for its self in
Williams port PA , The Cell block. After Moneyshot ran it's course Bob
and Mark went on to play with different bands most recently Controlled
Chaos who played for 10,000 people at the link!!.... with The All American
Rejects at the Miller lite NFL Eagles kick-off party. Mark and Ron
won a trip to the super bowl after winning the Frito lay Original Song
Contest(originals can be purchased thru itunes, napster and rhapsody under Rhythm of Chaos). Now 6 Pack Poets.... the next musical journey begins ! Coming full circle and back to the basics where it all started. The two of us, a couple acoustic guitars with some good friends.
