    6th Awakening was born in the autumn of 2001 with the idea of combining the various musical influences of the members and the ambition to create something new. The members of the band has partially changed over the years. Lovisa Lundmark on vocals/growls along with Mathias Harnerud on guitar have been onboard since the start-up and Mathias Jonsson joined playing the bass in the year of 2003, just in time to take part in the band's premiere gig. Drummer Alexander Gustafsson joined in 2007 and guitarist David Jonasson in 2008 finalizing the band to its current formation and came to constitute the last piece of the sound and soul that is 6th Awakening. Demos such as Perfect War (2004) and Deadincide (2006) and the videos Tongue Reaper and Tier have been released over the years. History of the band's gigs range from everything from the small pub scene in Umeå and towns nearby to larger scenes, for example Nordic Rage, House of Metal, the highly successful and sold out collaboration with NorrlandsOperans philharmonics; Demons of the opera and one of Sweden's largest music events; Sweden Rock Festival. In connection with new members and formations of the band the style of music has hardened over the years and has become more straightforward, proudly culminating in the band's first full length album, Psycho Path. Psycho Path will be released in cooperation with Tmina Records in the first quarter of 2012.
