Lorena grieving... Posted at 6:37 AM Mar 7 view more
About me: I'm a Seventh Day Adventist Christian. I believe God sent his Son to die for my sins so that I can live and there is nothing so great as to accept his gift!
I love being involved in my church and with the youth.
As far as my life... I accepted a job as a children's counselor in Wenatchee, WA. Going back to my "hometown" was an exciting thought, though I'm terribly missing all the friends I made at Andrews :(
Life in Wenatchee is becoming interesting ;) I have a little house where my babies (cat and dog) and I can live. As for the job I LOVE IT!!! My coworkers are very nice, I have about 26 clients (too many!)... I just asked to have my membership at the Wenatchee church as I found out that a close friend of the family will be our new youth pastor (thank you Gary!!) and at least that gives me the assurance that I'll be "working" pretty soon. I still don't have friends at church. There are not really many (if any) singles over 30 at the church and that makes things harder... I am, however, making friends outside of the church and who knows, that might be why God sent me here (just wondering).
still true: I MISS TERRRIBLY MY BERRIEN SPRINGS FAMILY!!
(btw-I lost the site where I got my layouts from, so this will have to do until I find it again!)

Lorena how are you? Glad to hear from you. The teens work hard for that program. Alabado sea el Señor todo salio bien.Thats great that you are comming, I'll show you the program in a DVD, well take care and hope to see you soon. Cariños, Lilly
im alive!! i swear, you must not have gotten my message a few weeks back, i have your books and i would love to send them to you, just tell me where, i also have alittle something for you as well. you can call it a REALLY late moving/housewarming gift!!! talk to you soon!
So, I moved everything out of the living room today in order to steam clean the carpet - and lo and behold, I found the book! It doesn't have an ISBN number - I think it was originally part of a educational package because it has multiple warnings about how it's only intended for classroom use. I looked on Amazon, though, and I think this is the same thing:
Yay for quilts and gardening! I'm only a few hours away from finishing my first official (big) quilting project. It only took seven months! I'm really slow. And while gardening is great in theory, right now it's an additional source of guilt for me because everything is overgrown with weeds. Oh well, I'll get around to it one of these days.
I think we'll be over in Wenatchee in a couple of weeks. Any interest in getting together while we're there?
Hi Lorena, I've been looking everywhere for that book and can't find it. Pearl is going through a stage where she likes to hide things from me - I'll keep my eyes open and let you know when I find it.
How are things in Wenatchee? It would be fun to see you again - we'll have to plan something and make sure it happens.
ohhh, i'm so jealous!! i have tried making myself a nice cold iced coffee but its just not the same with out my iced coffee buddy!!!! YOU!! miss ya, and have a fabulous holiday weekend!!
