Formed in 2005, 70-luvun Vihannekset got a quick start and released a 5-song CD-EP "Mullan alta" after just two rehearsals!
Each of us has played in numerous bands before and during the existence of 70LV. Problems? and The Silver Hawks for example.

In December 2007 70-luvun Vihannekset took part on the Christmas compilation Jouluräyhää! released by Woimasointu & Hiljaiset Levyt. Compilation includes "Äärimmäinen joulurauha" from 70-luvun Vihannekset and other great christmas-songs from Iskuryhmä, Tina, The Tarjas, Maaseudun tulevaisuus & TV Smith! Get yours at Woimasointu!
The debut album of 70-luvun Vihannekset came out from Woimasointu on April 2008. The album contains 14 new melodic punk rock songs, like "Joey Ramone" and "Minä diggaan Peitsamoa", which by the way is written and performed on the album by Joey Luumäki, the lead singer of Ne Luumäet.
