70s Cop formed in 2008 and after a period of discovery of the right sound and song-writing, we have since played a variety of gigs in and around Brighton. We are rapidly increasing our repertoire of tracks, whilst always striving to challenge both ourselves and those who hear our music. This autumn we hope to record a new EP and book some more gigs around the country.
New Drummer Robbie’s drumming style is energetic and powerful and he brings with him experience of playing with other great bands such as Saw Gang Buzz and Cymerian. The drums are complemented by Charlie’s aggressive and adaptive parts, which stray from the normal bass playing stereotypes.
The atmospheric guitar parts provided by Anthony, reminiscent of artists such as Massive Attack and Portishead, coupled with menacing choruses and breakdowns provide the perfect canvas for Ian’s vocals. His emotional hooks hold the ears of audiences before his powerful vocals ring out on parts which sound original, whilst still oddly familiar.

We're just recording and mixing this week and keeping ticking over with the practice. Will try to get down to see you guys on the 6th. Hi! I'm good, I've just been busy with homework and studying for exams ugh.... California is good no rain here...even though I really want it to get cold b/c I love cold weather lol (but by cold I mean 60 - 52 degrees is cold to me hahaha) Not really been up to much just hanging out with friends and going to concerts which is always fun :) How was your weekend?

Aww that sucks. It doesn't matter all that much, you guys are still great. Yeah getting a show sucks also, it's quite frustating for the fans as well.....believe me. :/ I've been pretty great. How about you? Any new songs going up in the near future?
