General
I don't have any real hobbies to speak of. yes, I am a homebody and watching TV is a favorite pastime of mine. I do however like to walk Carmella in the neighborhood and chat with the neighbors. A mall is one of my least favorite places to go. Right up there with the dentist and Gynecologist. I never met a scale that I liked. The Holocaust is a subject I always want to learn more about,whether it be in watching a documentary, movie or reading books and articles written on the subject.Music
Love classic rock, basically the music of the late 60's and 70's. I do enjoy country music too.Movies
My favorite movie is Casablanca. Every time I watch it I hope Ilsa stays with Rick. Other good movies I enjoy are Pulp Fiction, Shawshank, Fried Green Tomatoes (reminds me of Mary Martin, a good friend that recently passed, most Jack Nicholson films are worth seeing also.Television
Sopranos,Deadwood,Weeds, Law and Orders, The Closer,American Idol, any Animal show or movie, The Dog Whisperer,Charmed, Without a Trace.Damages. History Channel is a great pastime too. I really like a lot of old TV shows that I grew up watching. All in the Family makes me feel close to my Dad because he loved watching it. Two and a Half men is a hoot too.Books
Reading was a great pastime for me when I was younger but my eyesight is so bad, contacts and reading glasses don't always allow me to distinguish words if they are printed too small. I very much enjoy any book related to WWII. Most books about animals hold my attention along with some fiction writers; John Grisham, Lawrence Sanders, and John Sanford.Heroes
Any person that helps animals is a hero to me. Speaking up for those who can't speak for themselves is admirable in my eyes.

I am not all that interesting. I am an only child, unfortunately. Have 2 adult children, one girl,Sara and one boy, Christopher. I have a 5 year old dog, named Carmella after my very favorite Aunt whom I often wished was my mother. She is one of the best things that has ever come into my life.More like my 3rd child than a pet.Her devotion is worth more than I could have ever dreamed of. And believe me, you would not believe who gave her to me. The person who put me thru the most hell, gave me the best gift I ever got. Ironic!! Decided to go back to school to get at least an Associate's Degree in accounting. Hopefully I will get it before I die. I am not all that interested in cooking anymore. Prefer to make easy meals. While I am stuck with good ol' icetea (house wine of the South)

And I haven't had a decent slice of pizza in 10 years.

I was thinking of you tonight for some reason, so logged on to Myspace to say hello.
I was in Rhode Island for a few days in December. I was going to contact you for lunch, but then that lovely snowstorm hit!
I returned the rental car, and stayed inside the rest of the visit. (I was FREEZING!) I hope to make it up again this spring. Hopefully it won't be snowing.
