About me: Likes: double strawberry napoleon, imagination, Greg and Conner’s butter-cream-multi-layered-scrumptious-coconut-birthday-cake, literature, scat, virtuosity, beetles, green, convictions, adventures, generosity, collectivity, idealism, people older and wiser than myself.
Dislikes: okre, war, CO2, overpaid bureaucrats, TQMs and "Measurable Outcomes," thieves: from small-scale kleptos to mass impropriators, the lazy, the stupid, the bourgeoise, egocentrism, selfishness, vidiocy (and other forms of self-induced mindlessness), status-quoticians, greed.

Hey! Glad you like the pics. I am using a Sanyo X-Acti, which runs about $220 brand new. It has a pistol grip which is very handy for getting close to small animals. As for the tiger beetles, they are notoriously difficult to approach, being so fast and nervous. I would suggest catching them in a normal net and chucking them into a jar in the fridge over night, then letting them out in front of your camera.
yes, busy busy busy. Well good luck with the house. And NY for the 4th makes me envious. I am sure you will have a blast (that hopefully makes up for the busy).
being that it's summer and i am not in school, i am going to call you a dork and get away with it. Student. ha. and that is awful to be too busy. hopefully you are getting some fun time.
Robert Conquest's reworking of Shakespeare's seven ages of man from As You Like It:
First you get puking and mewling, Then very pissed off with your schooling, Then fucks and then fights, Then judging chaps' rights, Then sitting in slippers, then drooling.
I thought this was freaking hilarious... BTW, the Globe Theatre production of Othello was fabulous.
I had to make those for you! I make t-shirts like those for myself all the time and I knew you would love the Donne. The other one has you written all over it!! Anyway, you're welcome!
Thanks for the add. Also thanks for the peer review...aaarrrggghhh. No, really I am enjoying Hope's paper. Nice change of pace with her refreshing style of writing! Your pictures are amazing and gorgeous! How in the hell do you stay in such great shape when you are my age and I look like hell!!!???!!! Anyway, enjoy the weekend! I will be reading my short story on Monday evening after class at the Troubadour launch.
What are you studying? I hope it's Milton, or at least something of equal value. I cannot remember if my reply to your last message went through or not. I hope it did, although I have to confess hating MySpace for its blatant display of consumption and narcissistic qualities, so I delay logging on as long as possible, and, therefore, do not remember to follow up my ramblings on here. At any rate, I hope you are well.
