Writing.
I've written stories since I was a teen. Have had a few short stories published in magazines, and are now trying to write a novel. In 2005 I was accepted as one of 12 students at a writing school sponsored by Norway's largest commercial publisher. Writing is one of my true passions.
Music.
... is another passion. Sadly I don't play or perform music myself (took a wrong choice long time ago and haven't had the time to correct that since). I have a soft spot for punk/indie, but I try not to limit my taste to just one style of music.
Culture.
Basically everything that has to do with human culture, in particular the non-mainstream parts of it. History, architecture, religion, sociology, sexology, etc etc.
I'm also interested in the English language (probably the most beautiful language in the world), travelling, technology, and italian food.
Music
Ah, lots!!! MT-TV and Sleater-Kinney (my two favourite bands -- yes, I do have an eye for female-fronted punk/indie style bands with a feminist edge!)
Also Lush, P J Harvey, The Smiths, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Chameleons, Hole, W A Mozart, Talking Heads, U2, Waterboys, Siouxsie and the Banshees, REM, Madonna, Comsat Angels, Joy Division, Prince, Sonic Youth, The Cure, Johnny Cash, etc etc.
Movies
I'm interested in how a movie is made, and why it is made that way, and what effect it has on me, rather than the names of the actors and actresses it features.
Television
I don't watch that much television actually.
Books
I used to read a lot, but when I caught an eye disorder some years ago some of the fun disappeared. I still have a fascination for crime fiction, though.

Computer programmer and music fan, living just outside of Oslo, Norway.
I take interest in stuff that may seem unimportant to others ... like the beauty of a black-and-white photography; the shapes and textures and colours of an old neglected building; interconnected events that span decades and centuries; men and women with the courage to front ideas they consider vital ...
I don't believe in a particular religion (because there's too much power and greed and oppression involved), neither do I believe in a particular political system (because being a politician means you have to lie, it comes with the job) -- although I know which political side I support. Instead, I try to be true to myself, my spiritual and moral inner self.
