Amassing an archival music collection, attending live gigs, collecting generally bizarre pieces of art, reading, cycling, sports, and appreciating the beauty the world has to offer.

Blues. Anything on Fat Possum records. Johnny Cash. Hank. Chris Whitley. Townes. This could go on for a really long time...
Movies
Good ones. Like "Amore Perros". Or "Goodfellas". Or even "Pulp Fiction"(actually I'm not a violent individual at all...) And "Babel" rocked my soul to the core recently.
Television
I traded drugs for television and it's getting a little ugly. I'd almost be embarassed to say..but...Rescue Me is one of the best shows ever. True Blood is to die for: ) Friday Night Lights. Breaking Bad. The Cleaner. Saving Grace. The Amazing Race. Survivor. Burn Notice.
And I thought I was getting better...
See.
Books
Been laughing my ass off at Chuck Klosterman of late. Only the classics.
Heroes
My parents. And grandparents. A select few friends. And no politicians.

That's so weird to log in and recieve that message, as the only reason I logged in was to tell you that my boys are opening for your boys lol. I just found out today and have not decided if I am going yet.
Saturday night was the climax, but Sunday finished strong I thought, definately great to see you, and next year I am hanging out with you and John together so I can hear some great stories....loved this past weekend, it was my dream come true!!! luv ya brotha~~
Hey Jeff! Yeah, Tim's a great guy. I met him a couple of years ago with his wife Susan in a little dive of a bar. He plays here quite often fortunately and has some new music coming out soon so hopefully that means they'll be playing a lot more. By the way, they opened for Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby for FREE at a club/restaurant when I saw them. A sweet show! Do you know Tim? Wouldn't surprise me if you did.
Glad to hear that you made it to Louisville. I'll be at the show in Dayton Wednesday, with Levon opening! Can't wait for that one. I'm headed up to Detroit for an air show on Saturday so I'm leaving a day or two early to include the Crowes.
And as for FNL, that show is great. Julie (my wife) started watching it months before I did but I finally got hooked and caught up. She has the first two seasons on dvd so it helped to go back and watch them all again before Season Three.
I better be seeing you sooner than later. Hung out over at Betsy's and Mike's the other night and seen you in some high school year books--you were pimpin'!! Hope to see you at the NGR fest in BG this August please tell me that you will be there, need you to hook me up with the inside track-- ~smiles&peace~
I have yet to make it down to BG, back and forth from IL., to Louisville has me worn out..........hope you are well.........was wondering if you have Endless Boogie, Focus Level.......I can't stop listening to it.
