What’s Fly Society all about? Bringin’ a fresh approach to whatever your grind is. I rap, so I try my hardest to always bring fresh sh*t to the listeners—that’s why I dropped so many mixtapes this year. Nobody has brought out anything fresh and new. Not to sound corny, but I pull off some fly sh*t in this music game. Terry changed how people in the black community felt about skaters. He keeps doin’ it on that deck for real. I got my homie’s from my set Da Jets— that’s Young Roddy, Street Wiz, and Trademark—all over my tapes, bringin’ that new sh*t. That’s why it’s Fly Society; we are bigger than a clique...we have a population! When it’s all said and done, we’re going to apply for statehood and ban suckers!
