The Bicycle Film Festival celebrates the bicycle. We are into all styles of bikes and biking. If you can name it-Tall Bike Jousting, Track Bikes, BMX, Alleycats, Critical Mass, Bike Polo, Cycling to Recumbents- we've probably either ridden or screened it. What better way to celebrate these lifestyles than through art, film, music and performance? We bring together all aspects of bicycling together to advocate its ability to transport us in many ways. Ultimately the Fest is about having a good time.

The race will be about 30 miles long in and around Fort Worth, Texas. So far, there are 20 checkpoints, but there might be a few more. Everyone is welcome to enter and race, even though the route might be a little advanced for new riders. Gears or no gears, brakes or no brakes, EVERYONE is encouraged to race or help!

CALL FOR ENTRIES Students of high school, university or its equivalent in any area of knowledge: you are invited to participate in the Sixth Short Film Contest "Corto Creativo UDC'09" which shall be screened at local cinemas (part of an international movie theater chain) in Tijuana, Baja CALIFORNIA, MEXICO 28, 29 and May 30 2009, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 PM
Filmmakers and video professionals who want to showcase their short films, can send their submissions, but will not participate in the contest.
The pre-selection of material will take into consideration only the shorts that, in addition to exhibiting a clear narrative situation, have been produced after December 31st . 2006.
