"Shrine" was started in fall '2003 - after several years of playing various acoustic instruments i have finally turned into sampling :)
Originally the idea of the project was to create some noticeable dark ambient stuff. Of course the original idea got blurry in the years and finally disappeared in the wide field of audio experiments.
Still, i'm interested mostly in 'drifting' type of music, especially to mix nature sounds with machine sounds and other artificial things in an 'ambient' environment.
Two fullenght albums are released so far + one 7" vinyl + one split cd (with the finnish acoustic-ambient project Lingua Fungi) + few remixes of other projects + one compilation track. Another compilation track is coming soon on Snowblood. I'm currently working upon a third fullenght album which will be released on Snowblood.

03.III.2006. "Harmony, Bliss, Rust" is out on Mirakel Musik.
Mirakel is a swedish netlabel which was spreading musical releases under creative commons license, so the album is completely free for listening.
The label doesn't exist anymore but it's catalogue is still available online. Here you can read a presentation and download the music for free.
28.IV.2006. The first CD is out, coming in a luxury digipack.
"The Final Asylum" was released on Corvus Records. There is also a special limited edition (first 99 copies) coming with an additional CD-R including the glorious 11-min Raison d'Etre remix "Emphasis", maded with Peter's own permission.

16.03.2008. Finally the long awaited EP on Drone Records is out!
"Distorted Legends, pt.1" is coming on a black vinyl in a nice full-color cardboard sleeve designed by myself. The sleeve is professionally printed on a 380mic cardboard. The release contains two compositions from an audio material recorded exclusive for Drone Records.
16.04.2008. Second release on CD. This time a split work with LINGUA FUNGI.
The title of my part of this split is "WANDER". It contains two long antagonistic tracks opposing one another. The first one is called "There", and the second one is "Back".
Lingua Fungi's part (mostly acoustic) is entitled as "STRANGE GROWTHS".

Here in Poland weather was unusually shitty. Cold, rainy day... blah. But at least our mutants stay underground (except these bloody earthworms).
