    Cult figure Jacquy Bitch is synonymous with the French Deathrock movement. Over 2 decades he has massively influenced this genre and deserves to take his place at the top table of the European Alternative Music scene. His 6th album and latest offering, “When Walls Cry,” continues his artistic journey with its surrealist language and apocalyptic imagery. Founder of the first French Batcave Group ‘Neva’ in the 1970’s, Jacquy Bitch has performed under his own name since 1991. After a couple of self recorded cassettes and an eponymous EP (which included the mythical songs ‘Suicide’ and ‘Jesus’), Jacquy Bitch has released 3 solo albums: ‘Coram’, ‘Haine’ and latterly ‘Stories From The Old Years’ in 2007. A regular performer at International Festivals such as WGT in Germany and The Gothic Festival in Waregem, Jacquy blends together the theatrical and the improvised in order to create a constantly evolving show based on universal language and imagery that has its roots in the Neva period. This original approach allows Jacquy to fire the imagination of the audiences who in turn translate the songs in their own way. Occasionally misunderstood, this unique artistic approach is Jacquy’s signature, and allows everyone to interpret each work according to its music and atmosphere in order to arrive at their own story conclusion. On ‘When Walls Cry’ Jacquy surrounds himself with a selection of musicians rooted in Goth, Deathrock and funk. Charly on drums, bassist Alien, and on guitar, Pascal. All three guys have been performing live shows with Jacquy for last 3 years. ‘When Walls Cry’ was recorded in St Quentin (France) during February 2010. It is inspired by the idea of shameful, improper and hidden secrets that would be released if walls could speak, drawing further inspiration from Human Stupidity of which there is an inexhaustible supply! ‘When Walls Cry’ is the 2nd Jacquy Bitch album to have been released on the French label ‘Alone Prod’. On ne peut évoquer le DEATHROCK FRANÇAIS sans inévitablement faire référence au personnage de Jacquy Bitch. Depuis deux décennies il influence la scène avec son approche originale et mérite d'être compté parmi les plus emblématiques de la scène alternative européenne. "When Walls Cry" - le 6ème album - continue son voyage dans une langue surréaliste et une imagerie apocalyptique. Fondateur du premier groupe batcave français dans les années 70, Neva, Jacquy Bitch poursuit sa carrière sous son propre nom depuis 1991. Après deux cassettes autoproduites, suivi d’un premier « 4 titres » éponyme (incluant les mythiques Suicide et Jesus), Jacquy Bitch a sorti trois albums : Coram, Haine et Stories from the Old Years en 2007. A l’affiche des principaux festivals internationaux comme le WGT en Allemagne ou le Gothic Festival de Waregem, Jacquy Bitch mêle théâtralité et improvisation pour produire un spectacle sans cesse renouvelé basé sur un langage imaginaire et universel inventé de toute pièce à l’époque de Neva. Cette approche originale permet de toucher l’imaginaire de tous les publics qui traduisent chaque morceau selon leur propre subjectivité. Parfois mal comprise, cette approche artistique originale est la signature de Jacquy Bitch qui peut ainsi utiliser la musique et l’ambiance générale des morceaux pour permettre à chacun d’inventer sa propre histoire. Pour When Walls Cry, il s’est entouré de musiciens issus de la scène goth, deathrock et funk : Charly à la batterie, Alien Marteen à la basse et Pascal à la guitare, qui l’accompagnent également sur scène depuis trois ans. When Walls Cry a été enregistré en février 2010 à Saint-Quentin (fr). Il s’inspire des secrets emprisonnés, secrets honteux, scabreux, inavouables, traduit ce que pourrait dire les murs s’ils pouvaient parler et puise son inspiration dans la bêtise humaine, une source inépuisable. WWC est également le second album de Jacquy Bitch produit par le label français Alone Prod. Le label assure également le management et le booking du groupe en collaboration avec l’agence allemande Motherdance.
