I love to read - I dont always have enough time in the day to read, but when I do, I can get lost in a book for hours.
Heroes
My mom and dad are my heroes. On Dec. 3, 2006, my father began the battle to save his life. We almost lost him. He has been through so much, but he is still here with us. And my mom -- she has been by his side every step of the way. They are the epitome of true and lasting love.
My daughter, Josie, is my hero. She's a super fun-loving rocker chick with attitude. But she's a good girl with lots of love in her heart. She took the news of having a new sibling pretty hard at first, but slowly she's come to accept "It" (her nickname for the baby) and she's adjusting to all of the many changes in our lives like a trooper. She's the very light of my life and I can not, for the life of me, imagine how I was ever able to survive life before she was born!
About me: I'm married to the love of my life and the most wonderful man in the world. I have an amazing 12 year old daughter named Josie. She is my angel and my reason for everything that I do.
I live in Northern California. I am a social worker, a drug and alcohol counselor and I work as a counselor for women and children who have suffered from domestic violence, sexual assault and substance addictions.
I have many hobbies, which include reading, writing and yes, even tattoos. I love to dance and I love to cook. I love to try out new recipes on my friends
Who I'd like to meet: I want to meet people who are living their lives to the fullest and who know how to enjoy the moment while letting go of the past.
Leave your past behind you and run towards your future...
BUT......... Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are between you.
A girl friend is never farther away than needing her can reach.
When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.
Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you...Or come in and carry you out.
Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters, daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, Mothers, Grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended family, all bless our life!
The world wouldn't be the same without women, and neither would I.
When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead.
Nor did we know how much we would need each other.
THEY SAY IT TAKES A MINUTE......
.......TO FIND A SPECIAL PERSON, .......
.....AN HOUR TO APPRECIATE THEM, ......
.........A DAY TO LOVE THEM, ........
..........AN ENTIRE LIFETIME.........
..............TO FORGET THEM.............
.......SEND THIS TO THE PEOPLE......
.............YOU'LL NEVER FORGET..............
.........IT'S A SHORT COMMENT..........
...........TO LET THEM KNOW.............
......THAT YOU'LL NEVER FORGET THEM......
