MarkmyWords is a North County San Diego Based emcee. Combining unrelenting, raw, and uncut wordplay with melodic and precise delivery, MarkmyWords has established a sound truly unique in the evolving generation of hip hop culture. After nearly two years since his last project MarkmyWords set to finalize the more than ten years of progress in the debut solo release still tentatively self titled, MMW.

MarkmyWords' debut release through Disturbia Music Group is set for a 2010 release, promising to be one of his most versatile and and original works to date. Between the 18 tracks set in the project, MMW features guest spots from Chino XL, Block McCloud, Copywrite, Pumpkinhead, Blame One, and many more...

In 2008 MarkmyWords and DJ Sinn formed the emcee/dj crew name Nature of the Beast and released a 12" maxi single of Bench to the Bus Stop, All Time Greats ft Qwel, Ready for War, and We aint tryna lose ft Pip Skid. The single led the way for the release of the full length Homeland Security later that year which met fans world wide in full support of both MarkmyWords and DJ Sinn. Homeland Security was also hailed as one of the best bands in San Diego by San Diego City Beat magazine in its March 4th 2009 issue, quoted as saying "NOTB belongs in the modern resurgence of hip-hop". Later in 2009 the 2 released No One To Blame, a collection of tracks left off Homeland Security mixed by Cali Untouchables DJ Julian Ramirez before they split ways to pursue individual music paths.

In the years prior to Nature of the Beast, MarkmyWords released several mixtapes with Julian Ramirez, Natural Selection, Dead Inside, Dead Aim, and more. MarkmyWords has had his music featured in snowboarding videos, skate videos, commercials, and video games.
