We met out at Evergreen Speedway in 1999 when I raced on behalf of KISS 106.1 DJ's Chris and Dana. I loved it so much I started attending all the races and authoring an article for an online racing magazine. My day job was working as a Specialist for Verizon and when I organized a Verizon Night at the track with the racers donating their cars..."Hotlips" (me .. ) was placed in Joel's car. Bob later told me that Joel asked specifically for me so he "could strap me in". The funny thing about that is that it was a five point racing harness and when he leaned in through the window he really looked at a loss as to where to put his hands first! (Breasts or Thighs... he doesn't struggle so much with that anymore)Lol! MyHotComments We were married the next year and spent much of our time at the track. When life threw some curves our way and money got tight we backed off of the circle track racing and moved into drag racing as it was much more economical. I was very standoffish at first because how could "burnouts and driving hard...straight, be competitive and any fun?". Boy was I wrong! I am sorry I missed out on even a single race with that dumbass attitude. Its a blast and if you have never been exposed let us know and we will be glad to take you with us.
Other than that we are pretty normal, we have three beautiful children that by the grace of god we don't want to kill at the sametime... so someone always gets to be "the favorite". Its a rotating position, much like politics.
We love to travel...anywhere. Short trips, long trips, it really doesn't matter as long as we are together we seem to enjoy ourselves. Las Vegas is one of our favorites, Mexico and Canada are right in there though... this coming year we might even strike out for the UK. Getting ahead of ourselves though as we have a couple weeks vacation at the end of this year.
On the weekends (if not chained down at work) you can find us in the garage working on our classic cars or dragster... or if the sun is shining out on the Harley or tearing up the mountains on our quads.
MyHotComments Life isn't easy...sometimes its hard...frankly sometimes it sucks...there is always a grasping loser around the corner just waiting to suck the life out of anything they can't have, having experienced this firsthand we work hard to make every moment worth living...
