About me:

If there is righteousness in the heart,
There will be beauty in the character.
If there is beauty in the character,
There will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home,
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world.
So let it be.
I
have had a pretty eventful life so far. Many things I can't forget... many things I can't remember. The more I try to see life's patterns, comprised of a circular path, the more I feel I can predict my future. --But, there are just too many surprises. I'm glad there are surprises, because things tend to become dull. Hi, my name is Brian Foster. Ethnically, I'm a halfsie. Philosophically, I'm a believer of Deism, in short, Agnostic for the most part. I was brought to Earth on a particular Valentine's Morning, many years ago. Reading and writing, became natural early. To be exact, I knew my numbers, colors, shapes, and alphabet by the 1st year. I thank my upbringing for this. My earliest memory is around the latter of the 1st yr, coloring an owl for my mother. I used dark purples, blacks, and browns. I remember explaining to my mom why I chose those colors, and her responding smiles. I've moved a lot throughout my life. I've never had the luxury of settling down really. Or perhaps I had the luxury of new beginnings? Either way, southern California was my territory. I grew up in Los Angeles, Long Beach, Imperial Beach, & San Diego. For this era, I was already well into the art scene. From winning many art competitions, to studying oil painting by the age of 7, I was pretty confident in my skills. I attended a fine arts academy in San Diego for a few years, which definitely developed the way I saw the world, artistically. Before I was even 10 years old, I already began selling drawings to fellow classmates for honest cash. My next phase follows to the change of lifestyle. I moved to Arizona to start my junior high schooling. Things were so different, climate mostly. I missed the beaches, the boardwalks, and the type of people I hung out with. Arizona, a state known for it's incredible summers, left the streets looking like ghost towns. I had interest in music, so I picked up the viola and joined the school's orchestra. My beginner's year had everyone by surprise.

My enthusiastic practice sessions allowed me to learn incredibly fast. Within the first semester, I had already been accepted to the advanced orchestra. By the following semester, I had moved towards the chamber orchestra, learning how to compose full pieces. So, with my potential, I took no time wasted, composed a piece named "Title", and gave it to my instructor. She was so pleased, it was included in one of the largest concerts for the entire school to attend. This is one acheivement I will never forget. On towards high school, I started to focus more on computers. In 1999, I was the youngest freshman to step foot amongst the classes I took. I spent my time at home pirating media software for the enjoyment of playing around. Little did I know, things like Photoshop and HTML became akin, without effort. I took every multimedia course, computer class, and art class possible within reach. I mastered everything. I constantly joined art contests for college scholarships, placing in the top percentage everytime. My favourite course was always Commercial Art. It was the only class I wished to repeat many times. I was the best in there and everyone including the teacher knew it. The school's Drama Team always had requests for posters for school plays. Fellow classmates were always so dazzled by my creations, that I was always being commissioned. By the start of College, I decided to be an Architect, but later realized I should just stick with my already developed talents as a Commercial Artist. Despite my decision, I still took courses in Electronics Engineering, Computer Programming, and Visual Arts. To this day, I have been on a freelance basis, but I haven't had the passion in it lately. Frankly, I've been happier creating art for myself, unrestricted and unbiased. One day I will be famous for who I was... I will continue to be a non-conformist, a supposed altruist, a trustworthy philosopher, an inventor of outlandish thoughts, and an unconditional friend to those of mutual acknowledgments.
I am really open to self-expression. I’m not a melodramatic attention whore, but I do seek acknowledgement, usually in mutual lengths. I feel it is this honesty I provide, that others tend to draw near to me. It is honesty and soul that develop my character so much. I like to experience everything the world has to offer, so I try to take new routes in my life.
My hobbies consist of all things related to creativity. If it can be considered an art, I’ll most likely succeed in that field. Non-Physical hobbies include: Painting, Drawing, Web-Design, Graphic-Design, Advertising / Marketing, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, Color-Theory Study, Cooking,
Writing Poetry / Prose, Listening to Music, Reading Non-Fictional Books, Watching Entertaining Movies, Trying new Restaurants, Learning New Cultures, and Conversations about Controversies. Some Physical hobbies include: Swimming, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Skydiving, Go-Kart Racing, Automobile Racing, Running, Jogging, Kung-Fu, Tai-Chi, Yoga, Ice Skating, Soccer, and Relocating all the Furniture in the House when I’m Bored.
To understand more of how I think, one must understand the use of labeling. It’s how we control our environment, by how we recognize things. To label something is to create its existence. Of course, things exist before they are labeled, but their place in our world would be highly ambiguous. For example, if I label my coffee table, foot-rest, it will only be used as a foot-rest by my own means. And in my world, all coffee tables wouldn’t have the same meaning as other’s worlds all because of labeling.
