BIO
Since Dec 07, this band has hit the DC music scene hard and fast and taken many by surprise. Be sure to catch them live. The new CD Killer Good is available now!
7 Door Sedan is hook, glam, and dash of punk. Coming from the indie roots of Washington DC, Glenn Kowalski (aka Jake Whipp) fronts 7 Door Sedan with vocals and the same wild guitars found in his work as a teen in White Boy, the band sited as influencial by such notables as Minor Threat and Henry Rollins.
Glenn was interviewed on air at WMUC by John Stabb of Government Issue to discuss the 7 Door Sedan project, the early days of indie music in DC, and selling thousands of records in a time when vinyl and fanzines were the only way.
After laying down most of the tracks for the album Killer Good, the SDS project expanded to include a performance band. Glenn on vocals and guitar, Ken Moss from the Acrylix on guitar, Josh Singer from the Vampyre Bunnies on Bass, and Norman van der Sluys from the Vampyre Bunnies and Madhouse on Drums.
The 7 Door Sedan album Killer Good is available from:
