This band sounds like many things, but not many things sound like this band. Its acoustic, soft rock, alternative, hard rock, punk, and even cuntray sometimes. You really just have to listen and decide for yourself what it sounds like. Alex Potenza is the singer/ guitarist who composes the songs for 7 Mile Drive and has a passion for acoustic and reggae music. The lead guitarist, Adam Tribble, has been largely influenced by British invaders and adds his own brand of classic rock flavor to the mix. Brad Orme is the thrash metal head bassist of the band and has been known to incite a few mosh pits. And last but certainly not least is Swick. This guy beats the piss out of the drums, if nothing else. This punk influenced beat master is always going to be heard, and you are going to love it. These diverse group of musicians have come together to create something that you can't get anywhere else. The history of 7 Mile Drive can be said like this. What originally started as an acoustic duo made up of Alex Potenza and Adam Tribble quickly metamorphosed into a crazy rock band when Brad Orme and Andrew "Swick" Swicker joined the pair in 2009. From the start this band has headlined its own shows as well as opened for other bands around Massachusetts. After a brief hiatus in 2010 the band is ready to play full time and show the world what it can do. -
