we are a 4 piece heavy alternative band outta albuquerque, nm. with a penchant for beer drinkin and tearin it up on stage. our goal is to have a great time playing music we love for anyone who cares to bend their ear in our general direction. the music we create is loosely based on blues, rock, metal, funk, soul, alternative, indie and most importantly cold beer.
originally named "gabriel" in the late 90's, the drummer left to pursue business opportunities in colorado. realizing they werent opportunities, he returned to a reformed band called 7of9. though they already had a drummer, with drugs, women and money, he was able to coerce the band to kill their drummer and take him back. while the drummer was jerkin around up north, the brothers francia went through many band situations trying to make the music of "gabriel" have the feel of what once was. from playing in churches, garages and tiny bedrooms, it just wasnt happening. to make a long story short. we sucked with out each other. so with that. 7of9, now back in form, have been tearin up the local scene slowly garnering fans through extortion and blackmail. though not looking for world domination......im lying......with world domination as the final outcome, 7of9, is creeping along taking prisoners beer by beer and cigarette by cigarette.
