The perennial favorite: It's a Wonderful Life (I cry every time) But even more importantn to me: The Matrix. I especially like the first Matrix movie and was blown away by the ending of the trilogy (last scenes of part 3, wow what a message). I have recently watched the Matrix about 5 times. I even downloaded the transcript and am learning the dialogue. Yes folks that is the definition of a geek. I really liked that lion in the CSLewis movie. My favorite movie of all-time is Orlando, an adaptation of a Joyce Carol Oates novel. It came out in 1992. I have never forgotten it. Television
Law and Order Criminal Intent - I like detective Goren, played by Vincent D'onofrio - he's the Sherlock Holmes of the 21st century imho. I also watch Frasier, Will & Grace and The Golden Girls reruns constantly. They are 'comfort tv' for me, when I need to veg out the brain. I have some of the dialogue memorized for these shows. Oh and we can't forget the lovable super-nerd MONK. He's obsessive-compulsive and as a result is very gifted cause he notices where things are "out of pattern". I.e. uber-Virgo
Books
Too many to list here, seriously, it would take me all day. Right now I am reading the Einstein Bio by Isaacson. It reads like a novel. I highly recommend it.
