At 22 years of age, David aka 7skies, is a young guy with a passion for music - who some might know better as ‘The Crazy Italian Producer’,
He began his experimentation with sound at the age of 12, developing his ideas through hardcore and trance with the help of RAVE E-JAY and Magix. Not exactly the best production tools but still effective. David has ensured that these productions will never be heard by the public as they may scare the world off his music! These did however help develop his love of music and his passion for expression that has continued to build as the years have gone on, and acted as a starting point for the journey that lies ahead.
David was 17 when he had his first release. It was a Hardstyle track called Operation Strike: Fuck Ignorance, (yes I know what you are thinking…how rude David!... he really doesn’t swear that much!!), supported by DJ Gizmo, Deepack and The Prophet. It included a follow-up track called Operation Strike: In Your Eardrums. This track caught the attentions of some better known Hardstyle DJ’s such as Dana, Technoboy and Blutonium Boy. It was used on various compilations including Italian Hardstyle 6 and Harder Mac 8.
After his successes in this genre, David began what he likes to call the ‘TRICKY’ project. In the beginning it was just a bit of fun, but it became more serious when DJ Uto took an interest in his work and he sealed an exclusive contract in Japan with Quake Records. The first DJ Tricky release sold over 1000 copies on vinyl – and the second – a cover of the 80’s hit ‘The Riddle’ by Nik Kershaw with a remix by Sven-r-g & Bass-T sold over 3000 copies on vinyl. This single was released on three different labels from Italy, Germany and Japan, and was signed on some of the more popular compilations like Future Trance Hardclub and Trance Voices on Universal and Sony music.
From here David began to expand his style (and his audience…) and explored further the areas of Trance, Hard Trance and House (still sticking with some Hardstyle of course).
Now on a different note, David as a person is someone who is friendly and welcoming. He has a great desire to Travel, especially to Australia, and would love the opportunity to offer an Australian crowd some serious Trance to dance to! He is always interested in meeting new people and likes to get to know those who enjoy his music.
If you are one of these people, be prepared for a laugh and put the kettle on because he is quiet the chatterbox! So don’t be afraid to send this Crazy Italian Producer a message!!
David’s dream has always been to be a trance producer. It is for this reason that he decided to leave his Tricky projects, even though they were successful. He wanted to start fresh with a new angle, and so he did, creating the alias 7skies. He has recently signed some remixes made together with a great French producer Static Blue, and the two of them have some great singles coming out with some massive names, so stay tuned!!!
