7 Skies & Static Blue is a collaboration project between Italian artist David Boldini and Frenchman Jonathan Blakoe. Both have been involved in dance music for several years, through many trance and commercial dance releases on various European labels. They met on MySpace during 2006, and after realizing they shared a passion for the same kind of music, they started working on some trance material together. Several months in the making, their first official remix "Emphase" was born and is supported by several Dj’s around the globe. After being featured by Armin Van Buuren on his ‘A State of Trance’ show and By Above 6 Beyond on “Trance Around The Wolrd”, one of their recent remix 'Volume One' was picked up by Above & Beyonds world renowned label Anjunabeats. You can catch 'Volume One' on Anjunabeats 100, which is released May 5, 2008. Their first single ‘Central Park’ will be released on Breeze Records during summer 2008.
Each passing day, the guys are taking dance music by storm. With high demand for remix requests, global radio shows, and new singles, they can easily be named one of the fastest rising collaboration artists of all time.
