I'm standing here waiting in the rain. Cause I'm afraid of what I might not be. I'm listening for You to call my name. I'm standing here waiting in the rain.
Have you ever felt like giving up? Like you were lost or alone? Like no matter where you turn there is no hope for you? So many people feel like that everyday. Isolation; a prison of your own design; a place where you wake to find no peace; a place where your screams fall silent and your tears seem like the only motion around.
But there is hope! The world today would love nothing more than to have you believe that hope is dead; as if there is no one that understands your pain; that giving in or giving up is the only way out. Fortunately, that just is not true.
Although 7th Strain is a melodic hard rock band based out of Southern CA, it is far more than that. The members of 7th Strain come from many different back grounds and many struggles in life.
After taking just a moment to listen to the lyrics, anyone can find that it's not just about fun, but about love! The band believes in three simple words that the world today would rather have you forget:
Truth, Love, Hope!
The world will do anything it can to blind you, make you believe you are alone, and make you feel lost in the dark. But only after seeking Truth can the light break through the darkness that the world has pulled over your eyes.
Love is so simple yet so hard to find these days. It is something that cannot be bought, but is given freely. It is easier to look through the eyes of hate than it is to forgive. But Love has no eyes. The time is now for us as people to stop looking with our eyes and to start loving with our hearts!

That is what makes you all amazing, not just your talent and your music, but who you are as Men and how you reach out to those around you.
Thank you. You always come through for me in a big way!!
