7th Overture is currently heading back to the studio to record some of their most Progressive Music to date. We will be posting our new songs as we get them recorded, so please check back often to hear our new material and when we are playing out.
We have deleted our old songs from our first album 70 x 7 to prepare you for our new sound, which is very progressive all-out metal. We will be posting a bulletin to remind you all to come and check out our new sound. Till then keep it progressive and keep it loud!
Midwest Progressive Metal Band. 7th Overture is a 5 piece Progressive metal band from Peoria, Illinois. They have been playing together since 2003 and in that time have put together an arsenal of uniquely structured songs outside the mainstream. Using the unified musical backgrounds of all five members, they create an exciting, eclectic and sometimes surreal set of rhythmically complex & epic sounds. Locally, they have made a name for themselves, setting forth a mission to play progressive sounds with an undeniable metal edge. They are ready to play any venue, any time, anywhere to display their special brand of music.
