    Passion…longing…intensity. .. .. These are just three of the emotions that wash over you as you experience the thunderous melodies and rhythms that are the Seventh Strain. .. .. Born out of a love for the music that has shaped generations,Seventh Strain is a unification of the immeasurable talents of Matt Grubaugh (Guitar/Vocals), Aaron Maywald (Lead Guitar), Steven Bensen (Bass) and Jesse Gonzalez( Drums ) Each has paid their dues and poured out blood and sweat on countless stages to get to where they are now. Passionate and powerful are the sounds that shake the rafters. .. .. A 4 piece rock band based out of Southern California, Seventh Strain has their influences and inspirations, stay true to the traditions they follow but defy definition and blaze their own path through the music world and leave audiences hearts pounding and longing for more. .. .. The sounds that blast from both stage and stereo belie the band’s relative youth. Whether you are experiencing them live or listening to the CD, you are treated to a musical tour de force. A good band is always stronger than the sum of its parts, a great band takes that strength and increases it ten-fold. Seventh Strain is that great of a band, making them one of the premier up and coming bands that makes you sit up and take notice. Each member both challenges and encourages each other, as a band of brothers, focused on letting their voice be heard so that their message reaches out as far as sound will travel. .. ..
