80/20 Records is marketing and distribution for independent musicians. With the music industry under a major change, we feel that the way music business is handled should change too. So we are doing things differently.
What’s in a name?
The name 80/20 refers to our profit distribution. All artists receive 80% royalties. We feel that artists are the ones who do the most work and deserve to have most of the money from their creations.
How to join
We are currently accepting demo submissions, so if you're interested in joining please contact us. Preferably we would like you to provide recordings of your work as well as a web page, whether it is your own site or a MySpace profile.

Former Friends of Young Americans will be playing this Friday with The Tremulants at Green Restaurant in Tempe. The proceeds go to benefit the special needs students of North High School.
